Google has a new logo

Google has a new logo. They updated the logo to a sans-serif typeface called Product Sans similar to that of Alphabet – Google’s new holding company.

The new Google logo is still a wordmark, but is a lot more modern and playful. The color sequence of blue-red-yellow-blue-green-red are still there but for its icon, Google has done away with the small blue ‘g’ icon and has replaced it will a four-color “G.”

According to Google; The new logo is one major change made in the past 16 years and is a great reflection of all the ways Google works for you across Search, Maps, Gmail, Chrome and many others.

Sans logos are common with tech companies so we think this is more like a brand alignment as a leader in the technology scene. We totally love the logo as it is simpler and connects with all ages which is primarily Google’s demographics.
